Dr. Terry L. Brown attended Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa and graduated in 1973 with a Doctor of Optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Brown purchased a private practice in 1973 and has been practicing optometry in Jefferson, Iowa ever since. He is a member of the Iowa Optometric Association, the American Optometric Association, and has served on the board of the Iowa Board of Examiners. Dr. Brown enjoys spending time with his four sons and grandchildren, and playing golf.

Dr. Jamie W. Ostrander grew up in Jefferson, Iowa. He then attended Iowa State University and the Illinois College of Optometry. He received his doctorate degree in optometry in 1998. After graduation he moved to Carroll, Iowa to join a private practice with Dr. Terry Brown. He currently practices in Carroll and Jefferson. He is a member of the Iowa Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. He currently is a member of the Carroll Lions Club and is on the Carroll County Relay for Life Committee. Dr. Ostrander enjoys spending time with his wife, Donna, and his two girls, Hailey and Allison. He also enjoys summer trips to Lake Okoboji and traveling with his family.
